The aim of this service is to allow any Internet user to gather copyright information about any text fragment or EPUB ebook found on the web. The service also redirects the user to the corresponding licensor.

Example 1: Text fragments
Did you stumble upon a quotation or text segment and would you like to know more about rights permission to (re) use?

Step 1: Simply select the text segment and right click on the selection [after installing the free Copyright Hub (CH) cog] ​
Step 2: We search the text against our ebook database (the ebook has to be watermarked and fingerprintend, and indexed on CH Hub)
Step 3: After finding your text fragment, we give the background information of the source ebook that contains the text, and the option to acquire the license for use.
Example 2: EPUB ebooks
Did you stumble upon a downloadable (full or sample) EPUB ebook and would you like to know more about rights permission to (re) use?

Step 1: Simply select the download link and right click on the selection [after installing the free Copyright Hub (CH) cog] ​

Step 2: The ebook will be downloaded. The embedded watermarks will be analysed and checked against our database (the ebook has to be watermarked and fingerprintend, and indexed on CH Hub).
Step 3: After finding a match, we give the background information of the source ebook that contains the text, and the option to acquire the license for use.
